Capcom are having a stellar year of releases so far in 2026.
In April, Pragmata captured the hearts and minds of doting Dads and brooding Mums, all across the internet. Joe was no different – watching him stream it was a joy, and so far is perhaps his strongest contender for his pick for Game of the Year. And of course February brought us my Game of the Year so far, Resident Evil Requiem – which capturing hearts and minds of doting Leon S. Kennedy fanboys and girls, all across the internet too.
Said fans will be thrilled to hear a brand new gamemode is now out for the game – “Leon Must Die Forever.”
Unlocked after completing the main story, this new minigame mode sees Leon go up against various stages, while using randomised enhancements to beat the level against a time limit.
It sounds like harmless fun – I loved and loathed playing through Requiem on Insane mode, doing the challenges, and grinding out the side missions in Resi 2 Remake too. So I’m down with trying this out. I mean, I’m down with anything Resi-related to tide us over, while we wait for the DLC to drop.
